This Privacy Policy explains how NXTKRAFT SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the PowerAPI Whatsapp website, dashboard and APIs (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, phone, company name and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
  • WhatsApp session data — when you link a WhatsApp number, the session information needed to keep it connected, and profile details such as the phone number and display name.
  • Messaging data — messages you send or receive through the Platform, their delivery status, and logs of API calls, used to deliver messages, show your message history, enforce plan limits and investigate issues.
  • Contacts and campaign data — contact lists, CSV files and custom fields you upload, campaign content and auto-reply rules.
  • Payment and transaction data — plan purchases, amounts, dates and payment references. Card, UPI and bank details are processed by our payment partner Razorpay; we do not store them.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser user agent, request timestamps and similar logs.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the Platform: connect your WhatsApp numbers, deliver messages, run campaigns, auto-replies and webhooks you configure.
  • To process payments, activate plans, provide invoices and enforce plan limits.
  • To send service emails such as password resets and important account notices.
  • To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, spam and misuse.
  • To provide support and improve the Platform.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Data about your message recipients

When you upload contacts or send messages, you act as the party responsible for that personal data, and we process it on your behalf only to provide the Platform. You must have a lawful basis and any required consent to message those people.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only as needed to run the Platform:

  • WhatsApp — messages are transmitted through WhatsApp's network to reach recipients.
  • Service providers — hosting and messaging infrastructure, email delivery and payment processing (Razorpay), bound to use the data only to provide their services to us.
  • Your webhook endpoints — events are delivered to URLs you configure.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order or a lawful government request, or to protect our rights and users.

5. Retention

Account, messaging and campaign data is retained while your account is active. When your account is deleted, we delete your instances, contacts, campaigns, rules and message logs. Payment and transaction records are retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and audit requirements.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard one-way functions. Data in transit is protected with TLS. Webhooks are signed so you can verify they come from us. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel, and administrative actions are audit-logged.

7. Your rights

You can access and correct your account information from your dashboard at any time and export your message logs and contact lists as CSV. To request deletion of your account and data, write to [email protected]. You may also withdraw consent or raise a concern with our Grievance Officer (below).

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children

PowerAPI Whatsapp is intended for businesses. It is not directed at users under 18.

10. Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how your data is handled, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected] with the subject line "Grievance". We will acknowledge and resolve grievances within 15 business days, as required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you via email or in-app banner.
